Interesting that the turbo upgrade works ok with the standard downpipe, albeit with reduced power but uber stealthy!

I missed that bit - didn't realise it was just a Cupra/Clubsport turbo.

yes it is just the R turbo, very much like what unitronic have been doing for a while but i would be interested in how much they are charging, i don't believe its worth it on a gti but maybe on a 1.8...

Personally i'd also change the stock dmf for new one at the same time

Meh I know it would make sense but I have Xmas and new tyres still kicking my ass in terms of my bank balance and considering it's only a light slippage occasionally in 5th and 6th, I'm hoping the rest is ok :)

How's the stage 2 holding up Graham? I've got mine booked in for the 19th! Are you the only Mk7 gti with sharks stage 2 map?

Holding up a lot better than it should tbh I cancelled the clutch as since ordering it it's stopped slipping. I can't work out if it just happens when I carry passengers or I'm told it could be a small leak on the plate. Either way I managed to easily fend off a S5+ this morning (assume the plus badge meant he was mapped and tbf it wasn't that easily but I emerged victorious :) ) so the clutch clearly still has some life left in it.

As for other stage 2 ers I'd say they're pretty scarce. A few trade people and a few overseas but people are quite warranty conscious when it comes to physical changes especially on the vw side of the stable it seems.

What hardware are you going for?
