Sounds even more convincing than my eagles, and i should expect as much at £20 more per corner. May have to push the boat out next time round

I was originally going to get Goodyear Eagle F1's to put on as replacements too mate, great tyres. But my friend had taken the Michellins off his M135I to replace them with winter tyres and I so happened to need a pair at the same time so I thought I'd give them a go.

I forgot to add that they are also much quieter than the Bridgestones (the rears sound noisy now!) and the roads were wet too! Apparantly the grip in the dry is even more impressive with tyre review site giving it 97%! Even the mechanic said they are "very grippy" tyres.
Current - MK7 Golf GTI - Tornado Red, 5 Door, DSG, Performance Pack, Dynamic Chasis Control, Panoramic Sunroof, Discover Navigation, Dynaudio.

On Order - MK7 Golf R - Pearlescent Black, 3 Door, DSG, Vienna Leather, Discover Nav Pro, Rear View Camera, High Beam Assist, Keyless Entry, Dynaudio (Tech Pack)

All gone.

Now;

MK7 Golf R - Lapiz Blue, 5 Door, DSG, Carbon Nappa, Discover Nav Pro.

Super Sports are a lovely tyre, i'm finding great in sub zero and wet, not braved them in snow yet

When I sprinted the R with these on omg, turn in is so much better

They may wear a bit quicker but for me will be going on the 19s

Wet weather handling is just immense

Got mine from AMD. I'm very pleased with mine

Ha come round and fit mine! Holding boost better?

Yes holding boost better and improved throttle response. Easy to fit. Just a bit fiddly getting to one of the bolts

Did you need special long Allen keys or do normal ones work ok?

quite interesting on the friendly R forum people have a go at these figures, as well as Revo and APR saying they were lagging behind one small mapper

my question remains as how much boost they run, the savy tuners are keeping things cooler

Sharks rollers are very accurate, them and Rtech are the ones id trust and they both got my bhp bang on identical after I had my bcs fitted.

Still wanna put a revo or apr car on either of them to get a proper comparison.

And they seem to quote the figures youre at least gonna get, not what you could get on the most perfect of perfect days. for e.g. they said stage 1 was 285, but their own graph says 297!?

Just reading the r page now...

ok who or what is unicorn, i thought for a moment it was code for unitronic!?

EDIT - Ok im off home now but i leave you with one thought. https://www.facebook.com/UnicornMotorDevelopments

How can they get 380 out of an R and only 360 out of a S3? Sounds like the dyno was drunk that day imo, conspiracies tho :)
