Help, wheels or brakes?
« on: 17 September 2014, 18:01 »
Wheels don't clear the brakes what would you keep. I haven't got time time to make parts fit any longer if it won't bolt on then it's not going to happen.

Keep the wheels. There are plenty of walls around that you can use to stop you

as above. if the wheels are really nice light weight etc with good tyres keep them, plenty of good break set ups that fit or almost fit standard alloys so will most likely fit what ever alloys you have.

if the break set up is really good and the alloys are some cheepo after market ones keep the break set up (so long as you can find a alloy to fit over the break set up)

if both breaks and alloys are good then its up to you, would you loose much performance by slightly de-rating the break set up?

Cayenne 6pot Brembos with R32 discs or Porsche magnesium Techart split rims. I know that the brakes will fit with 15mm spacers with the R32 alloy and will fit the wheels I have with 32mm adapters but I don't think I want to be running that size of an adapter.  The brakes fill half the inside of the wheel lol.
