I'm sure Stage 2 will be on the way, they seem to put an incredible amount of testing into these things which is very reassuring!

Might have to go and have a lunchtime drive

Had a lunchtime blast up the dual carriageway, 6th gear just goes and goes, crazy.

You have to be really controlled in 1st/2nd or the wheels are gonna spin.  Third gear though, away you go! And boy does it go.  I can see why they keep 300 HP to the 4WD cars.

Very impressed.

just beware of doing those 6th gear pulls as that is what will kill your clutch, dropping a gear will help as you can use the power rather than the torque

Good tip, thanks. Thought higher gears would be safer

Look forward to more updates on this as I have enquired and very likely to have this installed.
Monsta - were you advised to add an uprated cooler (intercooler?) when available?
Speaking ( via mail ) with the APR agent they seemed to think this best as the temps could rise enough for the engine to go into 'safe mode'!
Having said that they said Stage 1 will run ok as it is!
Cheers for any info.

It sounds like APR are running this very close to the limits of the engine!

Well I don't think they would release a fundamentally flawed product for what is essentially general consumer use.
Maybe it's a track day reliability thing. I mean I have read that people are noticing eng temp drops in general use seemingly without an upgraded cooler so the engine can't be under huge stress!
Personally i'd be more concerned about the clutch.

Yeah cooling wouldn't be a major concern. The clutch wouldn't be a cheap fix if it did decide to die.
