Montana have you had any tuning boxes on your Gti? Hoping for a comparison between the two

A quick point to watch out for regarding the remap with a DSG gearbox. I've heard some users (on VWVortex IIRC) are commenting that there is a significant jerk changing from 1st to 2nd on part throttle, thought to be caused by the torque limiting in first changing to second where there is no torque limiting.

Might be wrth keeping an eye on.

OK folks, just got back from the APR dealer S-Line Automotive in Ashford.  Turns out mine was the first in the UK to have it done

First impressions are there is an incredible amount of power there now, my words were "Wow" when I first put my foot down.

Having only had a 15 mile drive on A roads behind traffic mostly back to the office I haven't been able to fully assess the amount of torque/power throughout the rev range but on planting my foot into the carpet it really does shift and the traction control definitely has it's work cut out in first/second gear!

I'll be driving it on a motorway run for about 1hr 45 mins tonight so I'll give it a good test then!

Bang for buck, unbeatable so far.
