Subjective, but I like Auto Finesse Crystal Glass Cleaner for inside and out.  Sometimes use Autoglym Fast Glass too.

Occasionally use Rain X Rain Repellant on windscreen, which beads lovely but find it often makes wipers judder and squeak so now I tend to leave front windscreen free of anything, after cleaning.  All other exterior glass gets waxed along with bodywork, so whatever wax I'm using at the time.

I don't out anything on my windscreen very often due to the reasons above.

Hard to beat Dodo Juice Clearly Menthol Glass Cleaner

And

Hydrophobe from Orchard Auto Care.  Needs to be a dedicated product thats been designed for windscreens.

DJ Clearly Menthol is a very good cleaner.  Try H2G0 by Angel Wax as a rain repellant - another good and effective product.

I started off with Turtle Wax glass cleaner and it took me
1 application to find out it is best for external use only (it smeared a lot)
Ages to work out that it does what Rain-X does.

I have got used to it now and I like it. Because it has a slight filler effect it also helps match out light scratches and small chips (while it lasts).

For juddering wipers - check your arms are bolted tight and the blades are held securely.

If all this checks out then your wiper blade is not at exactly 90° to the windscreen surface. In the direction of judder the blade is held at such a steep angle that it cannot fold over and slide freely. Instead it digs in, pings back and bounces, digs back in etc. The cure is simple. You need to twist the arm so that the blade is 90° to the windscreen.

I did this on mine this weekend. The arm is quite springy so it needs quite a lot of force before it will actually twist. I used a large adjustable to get good purchase on the arm and took great care not to knock the windscreen.

I only ever get wiper judder when I use products on the windscreen.  If I just wash the windscreen and leave it free of anything, I don't get it at all.

I currently use Autoglym glass polish it's one of the best I've used, but a little goes a long way and polishing until there is almost no product left makes it easier to buff so the glass is sparkling. Then apply 3 coats of rain-x apply 2 coats first then wait around 30min to an hour and apply the third. You can also put rain-x on side windows to help water run off to keep them clear. I would go for 3 coats on windscreen and front door glass and 2 coats on rear glass and rear screen. That should last around 2 months.

Wiper judder normally goes away after a couple wipes, I had it after applying G-techniq to my glass but went away after 3 sweeps of the blades

Wash, Clay, Polish, IPA or Panel Wipe followed by Gtechniq G1.
Repeat after about a year.
