tried changing the soft code from 00006 to 00004 but for some reason it wont change....any ideas

do I need to use the pin for the clocks first to let me make the changes to the soft coding

no you dont need the pin for soft coding. quick google shows my memory isn't amazing :grin:

subtract 4 from the soft coding to remove airbag comms.

nope, just tells the cluster to stop looking for a can signal from the airbag module

Thanks topher, another question I have is for some reason the mpg figures dont change....one is stuck at 99.9 the other is blank and also MTE seems to go up and not down... Everything else seems to work

I'm sure Ray told me that the correct readings are dependant on the ECU you have with the AGU...

Mine all works fine on my '99 AGU, I have the 018 CG ECU

Wazzer just been told could be cause my car is non canbus and immo3 clocks are canbus bit to complicated for me lol how do I know which ecu I have can I find this info on vagcom?

go in to engine with vagcom it shows the part number in the top left field, it will be something like 06A 906 018R, i think the 018CG is the canbus version.
