I dont rate haulfords tools lol
I use barco tools.

Anyway regarding wheels. I have 120 brand new never used chromed bolts.

I have about 75 used bbs rc splined bolts.

Never refurb wheels and exspect every thing to go smoothly.  Bolts are cheap so dont worry.

See the thing is with Halfords tools you buy them and they ar guarenteed for life.. + i know a lad who works there who gets them discounted for me.. Although i want tools for life, if i had the money for a full snap on kit i would buy them... surely there not that bad are they mate?..

I just hope i dont go snapping bolts... Otherwise ill just scrap the car.. Lol! (joke)

I know they have never been split in 17 years as there is still the original paintwork on the alloys..

Fingers crossed tey come off after 17 years! haha

Life time guarantee yes. Do you know what it covers? Obviously not. It doesn't cover the moving part of the ratchet spanner, just the solid handle. So only covers solid metal parts.  And how do you brake them?

Also if over time you round off a spanner its also not covered because thats wear and tear. You need to bend or snap it to get a replacement.

Also will only exchange if you show your receipt. Still gonna have that in 10/15 years? And will halfords still be around then? Or making tools atleast? Who knows.

Dont get sucked in by life time guarantee

Only snapped 2 on mine :) they are not too horrendous to get out so don't panic

Most engineering workshops or fabricators etc can get them out real easy for you if you get stumped

Can I make a comment and say Halfords Pro torx/screwdriver and spline bits are all total and utter sh!t?

Laser ones are way way way better on a budget.

Halfords sockets and ratchets are alright.
Dont often agree but Halfords stuff is gash for anything above Sunday use.
As said heat will help, the expansion and contraction will help the steel release from the ali.
Soaking in paraffin or other wd type solution will help.
Tapping the bolt on the head with a brass knocker and hammer will help release the thread as well.

I didn't snap any on mine, I put the spline in each bolt and gave it a good crack with the hammer before trying to undo.

That's because you were all lucky lol
When I had mine I attempted to ,one of which stripped the head so had to drill out and the other snapped the head off

Carbide or various forms of with coatings.
They dont stand up well in a pistol drill sds or not as you need the correct speed and cutting force applied so they cut and don't chatter and shatter.
I would avoid titanium bolts personally.
