I would avoid titanium bolts personally.

So would I...
But sadly, M7 x 1.0 Ti bolts are what hold RXIIs together...so if he breaks them, he's looking at drilling them out...unless he has a Spark Eroder to hand...or can TIG a stainless nut to the broken thread and get it out that way. Been there...done that!

I have a spark eroder in my toolroom, its not easy getting a wheel on them but it can be done :wink:
I have a trick for drilling them as well, which makes it easier for them to be got out once you have separated the  rim from the hub without damaging the wheel. .....
Your right about the bolts but you can use others safely once you have got the tity ones out they just dont look right to those with an eye for detail......

Incidentally, a snap of me at the BBS factory last Xmas.
