Make sure you have the right tools before starting the job. Make sure the spline tool fits snugly i to the bolt. Use a breaker bar. If you dont have much luck then heat each bolt up. Thats what the refurbers had to do with mine.

M8 spline (I bought a good set as you do need the right tool and not some cheapy!), and I used an impact gun with no snapped bolts but i was lucky

(I have done 3 sets but have passed on a 4th!!)

Ah right so nobody would recomend using an impact  driver then just power tools.

How much are we looking at if worst comes to worst and i snap a few bolts? (touch wood i dont).

I have halfords profesional tools so i will be using 'decent' tools.

What does heating the bolts up do? Wouldnt it make the metal expand and make it harder??

What happened to the last set ten Bradley?

Can I make a comment and say Halfords Pro torx/screwdriver and spline bits are all total and utter sh!t?

Laser ones are way way way better on a budget.

Halfords sockets and ratchets are alright.
