well the only thing worth keeping is the calipers and pads, you'll need mk3 discs and carrier's to get them fitted right (or use lots of spacers). oh and new front brake hoses with banjo fittings

along with 5 stud hubs for the front and it's best to fit the full rear axle from a 5 stud for ease

Just the gti outer cv joints should do it

you don't need new wishbones although the gti spec one's are better (but you'll then needs lots more parts)

New are £40 a side (for decent quality)

To run the 288mm brakes youll obviously need the 5stud hubs and driveshafts, wishbones and antiroll bar are also necessary as the castor angle is different and ARB mounting point differs between the 4 & 5 stud set up.

Go for the 256x20mm brakes that were fitted to 2.0 estates....

Plenty brakes for a mere 1.4..... and 4 stud..... straight forward conversion.... discs, calipers, other drums at back and new master cylinder.

Such a shame I've just chucked a set up.

Such an easy conversion don't even need a master cylinder.

Outer CVs, hubs, ball joints, calipers and carriers off a GTI and decent discs and pads and the braking is insanely awesome compared to standard, literally mine was like night and day!

ok so ive now been offered a vr6 complete set up can anyone confirm that it willfit 100% and will i need drive shafts etc
