When ever I try and change a track via the head unit I always get a message saying "media input: device no function" (or something along those lines) I check on my phone and the track has changed, I unplug the phone plug back and it plays fine.. If the track gets to the end it will change over to the next track with no problem.
This has only started without the last few weeks, I've tried an old iPod as well with the same problem so I've ruled out the phone, is it worth buying a new cable or is this a software problem?
Using an RNS510 version B with SW 2700ish and iPhone 4
