Camber issues

Car mk2 golf gti

A couple of my mates reckon that my drivers side rear wheel is toeing in more than the passenger side. I've had the car jacked up in the air checked a few bits with wheels on and off. Nothing seems bent or twisted. I got my mate to drive it down the road and couldn't see it. But they are both adamant it's slight more in than the other. Is there anything obvious that I'm missing?

if it drives fine i wouldn't worry until you get some new front tyres next and then get them Laser aligned.

Uneven tyre wear is a big tell-tell though

get them Laser aligned.

The rear is a beam.  You can't align it without releasing the bolts that hold on the rear beam and if any of the beam is bent you will need to either replace the beam, or the stub axle.

There's a chance your rear beam bushes may have collapsed.

Or your mates are being tw*ts.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

"Camber" and "Toe" are 2 different things! do you mean that your wheel is leaning in at the top, this is "negative camber"
Or, your wheel is not tracking squarely... this would suggest a bent trailing arm off the beam, or a bent stub axle, or both! usually curb damage. As long as the tyre is not scrubbing out, and the car doesn't feel to be rear wheel steering, then theirs not really much to worry about

It's negative camber apparently mate. But I've been up there again tonight and Checked it out. Still can't find anything. The car doesn't feel like it's out at the back and goes in a straight line fine. It's not crabbing. The too of the rim to the arch is at the same degrees and height. I think it may be my fat ass when I sit in it lol.

Cheers guys much appreciated
