Fitting a whiteline under shaft rollbar
« on: 19 April 2014, 11:29 »
On the front I want to fit a whiteline under drive shaft anti roll bar

The previous owner removed my rollbar as it rubbed .

If I fit the under shaft whiteline bar will my standard downwards drop links still fit ?

My droplinks go from the bar to the lower arms ?

Only questioning this as from the pics the whiteline bar finishes in an upwards position ?

Its for a seat leon which is the same as a mk4 and seatcupra.net don't seem to share any info or want to help !

Yes standard drop links will fit mate, they just look like they come back on themselves to join up to the arms

Thanks mate

Dpm recommended me some adjustable drop links and there another £100 !

So standard links should suffice

Thanks pal

Standards will fit, they'll be at a funny angle though.

I've found a front rollbar off a golf 2.8 4motion

Am I'm right in thinking this will cure my problem with this and some adjustable drop links ?

That'll do the job :afro:

I wouldn't bother with adjustable drop links though, although if you are going to get some PM me and I'll send you links to everything needed to make these:

They cost about the same as the cheapest adjustable ones on eBay but have a rose joint and ball joint to help them sit properly.

It's not great , throw it in to a corner and it just under steers off to one side and the arches soon catch the wheels

So id rather have one fitted , from the advice  dom has given me I got a under shaft second hand bar off a golf for £42.50 and ordered up them droplinks for about £45 and the polly bushes are £15 so its a dam sigt cheaper than a whiteline bar and still retain some handling

Those drop links are spot on, they're a damn sight cheaper than any well known brand and links plus they are rose/ball jointed so will move in any direction thrown at them :afro:

I should take some commission off the bloke lol
