you can fit an aftermarket changer in there yes, but would need some addition cables/adaptors. I believe Autoleads do these which allow you to run a Sony? changer. You would need to run the cables to the boot yourself though.

The factory VW changer in the DIN slot above/below your existing cassette radio would be a simpler and easier way of doing it though.

Not sure if both or only 1 of the versions will run the changer though. I think there was Gamma and Beta versions.

just buy an aftermarket CD player that takes a USB stick / SD card, you can fit a lot of music on then
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)
