Thanks for the replies. Noticed you've a black gti booth11. People are telling me to stay away from black as you can see every mark, stone chip etc. Are they really that bad?
Yes, they are really that bad, but I love 'em

Whilst cars of every colour get swirls, marks, chips etc, it's true that these are much more visible on black and that puts a lot of people off. Should you avoid black? Depends whether you want a low maintenance colour or not. If you do then forget it and choose a more forgiving colour. That said, a well cared for black car can look truly stunning, but it takes time, effort and a reasonable amount of detailing know-how to keep them looking their best. For me cleaning and detailing is something of a hobby, so not a burden. Almost all my cars have been black, so I know no better and must be a sucker for punishment!
I've been quite lucky with stone chips, only got one noticeable one on the rear wing and couple of minuscule ones on the front bumper.
If you're buying a used car, depending on the condition of the paintwork, it may require some correction work to get it looking good, though this is true of any colour.
