Judder at low revs
« on: 08 April 2014, 22:08 »
Any help much appreciated- 2001 1.8 turbo with aum engine has an intermittent fault where from cold the engine judders and surges when driving at low revs. I changed the mam but still does it. I've seem a variety of ideas but means spending a lot of ££ on coil packs, sensors etc and want to know what order I should do things in to try and track it down. It's an intermittent fault and once the engine has been driven a while seems much improved but can still be present. Also if I drive at a constant speed some times booting it puts the traction control light on and epc and have to turn the engine off and back on as I have no power what so ever- again this is intermittent . Plugged in vagcom but no fault codes- any ideas guys?

My previous AUM did that too and it was a 2001, I did the ultimate delete sai pump and N deletes, this did sort it out.
