Clutch peddle stuck to floor

Is the cable still attached at the pedal? There is a rectangular white clip that sits in the top of the pedal which holds the cable. These can break but can be had from dealers cheap.

It's the clutch arm ratchet that lives under the metal green cap on the box side.  Very common on the 020 box and the ratchets crack with age until your pedal stays down.  I do a repair kit of ratchet, cap and cable end/clip for £24 posted (I always advise to also fit a new cable as it ruins the auto adjuster)

its probably the small lever inside the green end cap that's cracked. very common issue. its about 10/15 quid for a new one and quite easy job to change. if you jack the passenger side of car right up you don't even have to drain the oil out.

Cheers guys I'm going have a bash tomorrow see what happens will let you all know one more thing. Iv brought an oil catch can any ideas on how to fit them?

It's either the clutch release arm as said above, or the bracket on your pedalbox which holds the cable outer, these can snap at the weld.

I suspect you broken the release arm under the green cap, very common.
