I placed my order in Feb too and I've been told the car will here end May.

Waste of time asking for that - its just a guess (and normally a pretty bad one).

Main thing is to get an order number for the tracker.

The dealer has just contacted me and given me an estimated BW22.  If it doesn't slip then it's looking likely approx 3 months from order to delivery, not too shabby for a GTD order.

About in line with me this gents, I ordered my R on the 10th Feb,  Just had the order updated with a build week of the 4th May... I am getting a little excited now!!!

on the online tracker were any of the details every incorrect for any of you?

I ordered mine on Wednesday and have checked to see its down as a 6sp manual, when i ordered DSG

I raised it with the dealer, but its still showing as 6sp manual

Yes mate that doesn't sound right. Have you contacted them?
I'm sure someone on here documented from months ago something similar and the wrong gearbox had been ordered.

I contacted my salesman by email and he responded very quickly

Took the VW website 2-3 days to update, but its now showing DSG :)

You get word roughly 4 weeks before its due to be built (confirmed build date) and then anything from 2 to 4 weeks after that for you to pick the car up.
