Yesterday we connected the two pipes that go to the front rail injectors incorrectly ie water fuel -fuel water and about £25 of fuel went into the water system. Flushed it out put new coolant in
Today twice temp went red on gauge and said stop and now it's on zero for 3-4 mins then red and repeat!
I'm about to jump off my balcony

Surely the garage that did this work for you should shell out for this?

I would say its probably misreading the temperature rather than overheating? Replace the temp sensor, and maybe the thermostat too? My money would be on a knackered temp sensor. Petrol probably doesn't do it any good.

Yes dom water pump was done, could the faulty temp sensor make the car slow?

Yes it could
I'll change it tomorrow and see what happens :/ really pissed off and close to tears! The sacrifices I made this week! 1k in parts and 6 days of 12 hours fighting through it and things going wrong, then when it's all done one thing still wrong or 2 if the power loss isn't related to temp sensor

As the others have said its probably the temp sensor, make sure you use a genuine one..
did you have a new Thermostat put in too? might be worth to check it isn't sticking
