If you look for the fault code in the ABS module in VAG COM it will point you to the engine module for the fault which in your case is the MAF

got my maf sensor today from the dealers -didnt get the housing , it only adds to the cost . the parts guy gave me discount so got it for £98. took my old sensor out and saw the part number was 06a-906-461-lx, (the x meaning its a refurb the guy told me).my new sensor had the part number 06a-906-473-a.so i checked the number in the thread about faulty mafs , and it was lissted as the 1st part number .so i phoned the parts guy up and told him and he said dont worry its the 1 for my car -so i put it on . started her up and drove around th block and back home ,  knocked engine off then back on and the traction control light didnt stay on  turned then engine on and off again and the engine management light didnt stay on  :smiley:so i didnt have too get the fault codes removed to loose the warning lights .drove 50miles since today and its 100%perfect
