engine and traction control lights on
« on: 28 March 2014, 11:14 »
hi gents- was driving yesterday -put my foot down and my traction control and engine light came on.i know traction control light is linked to the maf -and it comes on occasionly but goes out when i turn key off and on -had a new orig maf on 12 months ago . both lights stay on now when im driving .got codes read -p0102 mass air flow sensor signal too low . the other code which relates to the engine light coming on is -01314/013 engine control module check dtc memory . both lights coming on at same time mean they gotta be linked -car drives great still apart from dash lights and fault codes. know what all possibilities of individual codes -but thers got to be a link between them -anybody got any ideas ?  thankyou in advance

been researchin my prob from older posts -and maybe the engine control module fault code and engine dash light are there because of the maf sensor -signal too low fault code .so does signal too low mean theres not enough voltage goin to the maf sensor -maybe broken/damaged wire or coil pack or naff relay/fuse. any ideas anybody ?

The signal to low means that your maf is sending a very low signal to the ecu. Nothing to do with power to the maf

so i could mean a faulty wire from the maf to the ecu or as dom says just a faulty maf sensor ?
