Brakes are like sponge
« on: 23 March 2014, 15:42 »
I fitted my brakes today to the 312mm set up yet when I bleed them I'm getting no joy.
The brake pedal is just going to floor I've done brakes in the past and never had this problem

Try to bleed the master cylinder then abs pump and then every brake. Make sure enought fluid comes out though.

As your bleeding the brakes, start from the caliper furthest away from the master cylinder, so nearside rear then offside rear then nearside front and finally offside front

I believe you need to bleed them a different way, you run the risk of master cylinder damage the normal way.
