A spring compressor helps massively. Piece of cake with a hydraulic one. Other wise just time consuming...

Providing the compression test is ok in the morning I'm going to dedicate a couple of days to the new ride.....

I am going to change top mounts maybe poly? What do you think? And as I have t change discs and pads I was thinking about making my springs look new? What's the best way to go with the springs?

Poly top mounts will be pretty harsh, I'd stick to standard replacements tbh

depends how much work you want to do  you could get them sand/shot blasted etc then powdercoated or a quicker way is take all the old flaky paint rust off etc, coat of primer then a coat or two of colour of your choice and coat or two of clearcoat should have them looking new again :afro:

The first way is obviously the correct way the only problem is it's my daily drive so probably have to go the other route this time

Thanks
