Turbo options
« on: 19 March 2014, 20:56 »
I have a ko3 and was suggested that I get a k300 instead of ko4 because its easier and cheaper.

Seems they are no longer for sale. Looks like a few problems with them or something and he has completely stopped taking orders literally in the past 4 days. Was fully selling them last week.

So what are my options? What would you do?

Fit a 2nd hand ko4? Too much faff?

Or buy new ko4-001 (if they are even sold these days)?

Yup said he is not doing anything at all.

On his fb page he was selling stuff last week, then had post about a guy with some problems with a turbo now all of a sudden saying he is not selling any

Yeah had plans for that route too. But fair play if something might need sorting then it makes sense to hold on.

Just not sure what to do now as its all different supporting mods. Well some of it anyway.

Shame really, it's a good hybrid, mine has been running strong once I've installed it and the powerband is much improved.

Not sure where to go from here. Would you start upgrading bits like full 3" turboback and fmic and stuff first then see whats going on?

Not sure what stuff will need changing again that wont be compatible with ko4?

Pretty similar specs I would say, just depends how thorough you want to be. If I was to go k04 instead of hybrid k03 the only thing I would change from my spec besides the turbo is the downpipe.

The problem is people will have lost trust in him, I certainly wouldn't buy one now. Matt @ OCD voiced his concerns about the build quality of one that he fitted for a customer months ago.
