The problem is people will have lost trust in him, I certainly wouldn't buy one now. Matt @ OCD voiced his concerns about the build quality of one that he fitted for a customer months ago.

Yeah true. Especially just turning around and saying they are no longer for sale all of a sudden. Clearly because of those issues.

Back to square one!

Which sucks, because k04 route is more of a ball ache for less power plus 2nd hand turbo.

I've not followed what had been said, what seems to be the issue with them?  I have been abusing mine for a while now with no problems. It may be a one off fault this person had with his unit which is not uncommon in any product, even the big boys like Forge or Garrett. They all have returned items, complaints and we all know VW do too.

Seems like somebody had a problem with one who bought it off somebody else.

Who knows what could have happened with all that going on.

From what I can gather....

- The guy who's having issues bought it second hand but unused from a guy who got it direct from Dan.
- The turbo was fine when posted and was checked for play when received with nothing out of the ordinary.
- The guy fitted it, primed it before cranking etc and it was making a racket.
- One of the blades looks to be bent (see pic below)
- Dan is suggesting that it was dropped in the post
- Dan is now no longer building hybrids as his job as a pilot is suddenly taking priority (read into that what you like)

dom is right. Thats what he said and thats what i read. Thing is if it goes wrong then stand by your item and resolve the issue. Dan also said that the blades aint billet and he does them in billet. Whos to blame??

I know I read all this before I started the thread.

But thing is selling them a few days ago and all of a sudden going to not selling any at all and not got any plans to soon just looks a little sketchy to me.

I know they are made from Chinese cheap shells with a new actuator and wheel but all feedback has been nothing but positive from what I have been told.

Can only wait to see what happens.
