I am getting my lightened flywheel and new clutch fitted this afternoon is there anything i should be thinking about replacing while all this is apart i have a crank seal to fit also just want to make sure i do everything while gearbox is out and its all off.

nothing else can be done.

I assume a new thrust bearing came with the clutch?

Yeh and i have all new bolts for both flywheel and clutch.
Just want to make sure i don't miss anything as auto data said 4 hour job :s.

Yes a lot longer!

But if you are in a professional place with a ramp and air tools it may just be possible!

you should check the input shaft oil seal for seepage while box is out. its the only oil seal you cant change with the gearbox in place.

Every thing above changed car drives perfect have not noticed a great power gain but engine is so smooth now  :smug:

It won't change power but change the way it's delivered. Mine made a noticeable difference whilst bedding in new clutch against a mates vr  :whistle: Best thing I did to my valver  :smiley:
