Hi guys. Just a quick one. The clutch is coming up for replacement and I was wondering if it's worth going with the cheaper option and getting a smf? What will the difference be?

Yeh it's a aum 1.8t. Will I notice any difference or not with the single mass? I don't mind spending a little extra on the dmf if it's going to make it drive nicer

mines already had both fitted and the pedal is nice and light and more responsive imo than the oem dual mass fitment

Cheers for the help! I may go with the g60/vr6 conversion then! Is that gonna be a straight swap for the oem parts or does anything need to be modified? And how much do you think it will cost me for the bits?

Straight fit and cost me about 150 for the clutch and flywheel and then 120ish for fitting. That was about 3 years back

Nice one. I thought I'd have a look at other post about it and found a kit on eBay for 199 and that's SACHS branded as well so I'll go with that I think. I like to hear nothing but good feedback about this conversion as well!
