Great stuff, thats it ordered
£41.50 im having to pay to fix creaks in a car well in excess of 20k, whats that all about?!?
The way you mentioned not to let it come into contact with paintwork, will it be ok since the felt bit does contact the paintwork when the doors closed?
Yeah, it'll be fine when the doors are closed. Work it well into the felt and just wipe any excess off the area it comes into contact with.
It won't do any damage to the paintwork, but it's easy to get it elsewhere on the car when you are applying it, and as with any oil, it takes a fair bit of elbow grease to get rid of the oily smudges. If you do get it elsewhere on the paintwork, washing the car is probably the easiest way to remove it, or use some quick detailer and a microfibre, that worked for me. For oily smudges on the windows use glass cleaner.
Best advice is to use it sparingly, make sure the seals are clean and dust free prior to applying (common sense) and work it in well. Put a small blob of oil in the palm of one hand, then rub a thin coating onto your fingers (other hand) and then apply. You will only need to use part of the bottle, probably not even half, depending on if you are doing all the door seals. You could also use nitrile gloves if you don't want to get it on your hands.
