Sorry mate I didn't see it either , this is the exact mod I've been thinking of doing to my Vento 2.0 8V when I get some spare dosh so I for one am very interested in how you get on .
What intercooler are you using being that there's less room in the mk3 than a mk2 . I've got a Hofele type R bumper which when I eventually fit should give me a bit more space than the standard bumper :undecided:
And what management are you using  I spoke to Ben Leach at  http://www.qpeng.com/contact.html he was very helpful

Looking forward to your next installment

FINALLY!!    yes it did bolt straight in, pretty much. mk3 16v mounts were used to mount the beast. ive got the 2001 vvti, fly-by-wire 150bhp version. alot more work is involved with this engine. its been a great experience though. ive got an ALLARD intercooler, its quite big and is gonna be mounted in the front bumper-the big gap in the middle. luckily i have a friend who works at VW, he will be joining the 2 looms together for me. join my yahoo group to see more pics.  http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/golfpiccys/
