It seems like a potential whole heap of trouble to me. It's age, initial history from the other side of the world and lack of off the shelf parts for them would put me off having one as a daily car that has to be relied on. Then you'll have the issue of finding someone to buy it when you have finished with it.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Are you being serious?  Its a 1.3 with 200bhp! My mates was 220bhp and blew up twice!!

Be cheaper to run a e36 m3 evo that has 320bhp and still does 40mpg

S2000 is one of my must own cars in my life but still want 4/5 seats still for a fewer a years

Got to the point of Fed up now can't decide what I want so may just let it take a back seat for a while instead of checking online for a new car every day ,

Depends on his spec.  If your going 200+ you need the forged engine and the 1.5 bottom end

Waited hours for the boss to come back and he eventually told me it had about 60-70 k on it and wanted £6k so I said no thanks because there in eBay with that millage for 4.5-5.5 max !
