Hope you're all well guys!

Finally I have been given my BW of 12!

I ordered GTD 5dr in Night Blue on the 15th October so I am having to wait a long time :(

Anyways, thought I'd pop in and say hello and hope to meet some fellow enthusiasts!

I really do hope so!

I'm coming from a very different car - Civic Type R  :whistle: lol.

But I was getting sick of filling up all the time and having to rev the nuts of it for it to go anywhere. So this should be a bit of a change.

Before that I had a Leon FR 1.9tdi mapped to over 200bhp and 330lb/ft, so I'm used to some torques  :evil:

I feel your pain.  I ordered mine on the 10/10 and it will finally be getting built next week.  Slightly sooner than yours but still a very long wait.

Wow so not just me that's been waiting for so long!

To be honest, I've not had the best experience - as when I ordered it back in October, I was told the new year, i.e. January I will be given a build week. January came and I was told Feb I will be given a build week. Then only the other day it was officially confirmed in an email my build week is w/c 17th March!!  :angry:

Hi Moshin,

I'm in the same boat - ordered 07/10, the VW tracker is still sitting at stage 2 "With the Factory", I have since spoken with the dealer who has informed me that I'm scheduled for build week 12.

Is the tracker up to date for you, mine seems to be lagging a bit?  :huh:

Does anyone know how long it takes for delivery after the build week, about a month or so??

Hi mate,

I don't even know what my tracking reference is?? I've ordered my car through a leasing company and was never given one...will I have to ask them for it? Or can I not just call up VW and ask them?

You should be able to get it through the leasing company, they can request it from VW.

If not you could just contact the dealership directly?

It's a frustrating wait, but I'm sure it will be well worth it come delivery day.  :smiley:
