Wow so not just me that's been waiting for so long! To be honest, I've not had the best experience - as when I ordered it back in October, I was told the new year, i.e. January I will be given a build week. January came and I was told Feb I will be given a build week. Then only the other day it was officially confirmed in an email my build week is w/c 17th March!!
You should be able to get it through the leasing company, they can request it from VW.If not you could just contact the dealership directly? It's a frustrating wait, but I'm sure it will be well worth it come delivery day.

You might get it quicker than you thought.
Whoops sorry, I read it as 17th Feb.
It's funny that the more you want the car the longer it takes,I ordered on the 18.9.2013 &told the dealer I didn't want the car intill 1st March for a 14 plate,then get a phone call on 6 Jan saying my car is ready for pick up.

I ordered in October and said I didn't want it till March 1st. Low and behold it arrives 18th December!Not long to wait now, though.btw, welcome to the forum Mo! (where are my manners?)
