When disconnecting the blue temp sender be sure to rev the engine three times over 2,000 to allow the ecu to go in to set-up mode ( if your doing any adjustments) and also do the same after plugging the sender back in and then allow engine to idle for a minute or so before switching off .
Also check the wiring to the micro switches on the throttle body , if they are broken it can cause excessive idle speeds ( revving its nuts off )
