Had a look at the pictures, not feeling the standard alloys nor the cloth interior...

I think it's going to be a bit like the mk5 r32 I had and when you see it in the flesh it will be much better! Leather should be standard in this kind of car, although I don't mind the cloth it looks ok

Don't like the colour of the seat bolsters on the cloth seats and as usual for the Mk7 the wheels don't fill the rear arches properly.

Was seriously considering an R but not so sure now! As above, need to see one in the flesh...

Reading through it seems you may be able to spec black or grey, will have to wait and see! I don't think any new car fills the arches as they used to, I remember one of the things I loved about my leon R I brought when they very first come out in 2002 being how it Just hugged the road and sat perfect.

Looking forward to seeing some of these cars without the transport wrapping on to get a feel for how they look. The lapiz blue looks amazing but i'm still not entirely convinced by the front end. I was looking through some pictures of the R and came across some renderings that top speed had come up with before the car was released.

Final Version

I know which one I prefer

The rendering pic looks like the MK6 R.

Or that it has a Scirocco R skirt.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

The front bumper on the mk7 isn't aggressive enough IMO. Also the standard alloys on the mk6 version look nicer.

Having said that still wouldn't mind one.
