So coming home on the same road i drive along everyday and they had taken parts of the road up in random places, unknown to me as it was dark and there were no signs in sight, ive gone through two of them at between 30-40mph. The bang was that bad it made one of my centres come off which are anniversary screw on centres and near enough impossible to get off with your bare hand!
Now im getting vibrations through the wheel over 30mph, and really bad vibrations at 60-70mph on the motorway. Ive had a look for damage to the wishbones and control arms and all looks okay, also looked as good as i could while the wheels are on the car for buckles and cant see anything obvious.
I'm thinking the wheels are buckled and i cant see it on the outer edges, has anybody had any experiences with having wheels straightened or am i best off gettin myself another set ?
Cars in the garage saturday for a service so there gonna give it a looking over underneath n try balance the wheels but im not holding out much hope as i think its to much vibrations for weights to sort, theyve suggested worse case i get the wheels straightened.
