Is this just a case of adjusting on the spline a bit or do I need to bend something in some direction?

Unless you have a serious problem with wear in the linkage, it is a simple fix by removing the nut and moving the arm on the spline

You can pull the mech off the motor and turn it if it's hitting the scuttle. Also it's not hitting the plastic ecu cover is it?

Sorry should have mentioned its at the top of it's travel. It doesnt actually hit anything tho, it the blade like folds on itself making the 'bang'

Haha yeh we've been meaning to do it for ages, probs early summer now tho as the weather is too jank atm!
