Unless you need the spacers to clear the brake calipers, do not fit them. Puts extra strain on the wheels bearings.

Finally got round to painting the brakes once the car had been lowered, Personally don't think they look that bad! Thoughts? Slightly disappointed with the drop as well ....

Not to my taste.  Still think black or grey would look classier, but it's your car.  Did you want it lower than that?
