Timing belt covers

Looking to tidy up the engine a bit more, anyone know if a carbon fibre or clear timing belt cover for the 1.8t?

Sounds like you would need to get one custom built. Have you thought about wrapping the original using carbon fibre sheets?

would be cheaper than a custom made one  plus its only going to get covered in crap from the road if you don't have the undertray

It might stay clean, I just worry a wrapped cover would make the engine bay looks little tacky. I would like to smarten up the engine bay.

i think it might look okay really would be different or you could paint it maybe?

Agreed, I wouldn't wrap anything in the engine bay. It'll look a bit crap, and would the heat not just cause it to peel away eventually?

have 1 made in metal then powdercoat it

Still trying to decide but I have it in my mind that it should be carbon fibre, maybe gloss black but it's difficult to imagine as the engine bay is still work in progress at the minute, but carbon fibre would be the safest bet.
