2009 Golf RNS 510 Update to v10 maps
« on: 24 December 2013, 14:18 »
Hi all,

This has been asked a lot, however after searching forms hi and wide I am still no further forward. The maps I have installed are the initial ones from the 2009 registered car.

I want to update to v10, however I believe I need to update the firmware as well? I have tried doing a technique to find out what firmware I have and holding the setup button on the machine does not work. I have sent an email to http://www.satnav-update.com/volkswagen-vw-22-c.asp but awaiting a reply.

I saw a post on here from Parmo on the 10th July doing the same as me but updating to maps v9. I think a guy called Chris is the man in the know with the required discs I would need to purchase!

Can you help please Chris!?

Merry Christmas all!

Gaz

an original version map disc doesn't come with speedcams on it. any maps you see with cams on are doctored versions. gaz2559 pm me.
