Is your engine an abf? If so, then the ones they stock won't fit.

I came across this issue when I ordered one from eBay a few years ago. My original ABF sump plug was f**ked anyway so drilled it and replaced with a large bolt which was tapped and bonded into the sump then the bolt was drilled and tapped to accept the new magnetic sump plug. Killed two birds with one stone.

ive seen somewhere, possibly on "fast n loud" where when they bedded the engine in, they used a strong magnet and stuck it on the inside of the sump. it sticks it self to the sump and will collect the bedding in material, obviously you need to be careful where u stick it, so it doesnt get bashed and do damage, then run the engine in, drop the sump again and remove the magnet and all the running in material,
In my own head it seams a good idea to drop the sump after running in, to make sure there is as little as possible material left in the sump,

probably a rubbish idea, but thought id share it,, :)
