Original Stereo Removal Questions
« on: 14 December 2013, 14:09 »
i have the standard tape deck / radio then i have a cd player above it

I'm looking at putting in a alpine cd player to replace the original stereo

would this go in direct replacement to original cd player or would both have to be removed ????

Straight swap and then replace the old CD unit with a cubby box. Or go double din.

Straight forward - you need to slide the keys into the vertical slots (shiuld be near the edges) and then pull the unit out.  Keys are available from eBay and Halfords. If you replace the other stock unit with a cubby hole then note that you willl need the right cubby depending on if you place it above or below your new unit.
