This may sound stupid. and i dont see any problem with it but thought i would ask here first.
my current FMIC isnt the best fitment, mainly because the pipework coming out is streight, however the bumper is obviously curved.
i have access to welding equipment so the work shouldnt be a problem, but if i was to cut the two exits off the intercooler and weld back on at a slight angle so that the pipework came out at an angle instead of streight, would this cause any problems that you can think of?

as indicated in this highly precise AutoCAD Drawing i have just made

white oval is the bumper, red is intercooler, cyan is pipe work, as you can see im thinking of angling the intercooler exits so that the pipework follows the general line of the bumer.
anyone see any problems in this?
