FMIC and the bumper

Hi guys at last I have got round to the front mounted intercooler which has been a pain to fit!!!! Got the last bit on tonight and guess what the bumper doesn't fit straight on no suprises there!! Was wandering how people have got past this before or what bits need cutting exactly??? Any ideas anyone :)

It's a toyosport had to fiddle alot with it and put the map sensor on but got it to fit nice

make an account on photobucket then up load you pics onto there and copy the link from you pic to here :)

put pic on fb/twitter/any website. right click on picture, copy image location and do this
(img) past image location here (/img) but use square brackets not curly brackets.

as for the FMIC fitment, i have the same problem, if you look at the pipes coming in and out of the fmic they are streight where as the bumper is rounded, therefore they catch in each corner, im going to cut off the little 1inch long bits of pipe on each side of the fmic and re-weld on at an angle so that the pipes are angled backwards a little.

for the moment though i trimmed a little off the bumper.

Can't upload any pics which is annoying!! But I've had a look and the main problem is that where the bumper bolts on underneith with two 30T torque bolts the pipes sit right in the way! If I get an R32 front bumper will this solve my problem you think?

I had to cut loads off my bumper. I had problems fitting the splitter aswel, it's only temp until I fit new bumper.

The back of the bumper needs a bit of trimming, as do the vents. Kit can be found here:

Can JUST get a stock bumper on.  However the drivers side boost piping would need a bit alteration but I imagine you could get it fitted.



Mines only temporary tho.
