Lupo / Polo airbag removal tips?
« on: 30 November 2013, 16:52 »

I fitted this steering wheel to my mk3 a couple of years ago and haven't ever needed to remove it until now due to breaking and I can't for the life of me get the bugger off. I know there are two holes on the rear of the steering wheel which you are supposed poke a flat screwdriver in to release the holding springs but they simply won't come out so wondered if anyone had any tips as I'm absolutely stumped?  :undecided:

Sure about the flat screwdriver thing? Thought they were 4 or 5mm head size allen bolts?

I found a 'how to' video on YouTube anyway.
