Charlie, they can zero it once so long as its below a certain limit. this is fairly common knowledge although I would not be surprised for a dealer staff member to either not be aware of it or deny it - neither of those eventualities mean it can't be done (I think the method is to hold down the reset button for 30 seconds).

when I'm out and about next week I shall ask a few dealers and get back to you I will be most surprised if they can

I thought that once the car had reached 150kms it will not allow it to be returned to 'Transport Mode" setting which is where any potential alterations can or cannot be made perhaps.

Mine you are not going to get much enjoyment driving in that mode as I found on a test drive before PDI.
