Front strut movement
« on: 25 November 2013, 22:15 »
After fitting my Joms I had to re-higher one of the struts and re tighten a month or so later. Anyway I've done this and it has happened again, even though I was mindful and tightened the sh!t out of it, or so I thought! Any tips on sorting this out? I proper tightened it so i'm presuming it must have got some lubricant or something on the strut?! Anyone had similar and sorted it?!

Do you mean the adjusters are working their way down the threads?

No the actual strut has dropped further through the holder. Im going to qdjust it again and tighten it but wondered if it was maybe a common occurance and a way of stopping it.

Replace the pinch bolts with new, then torque to spec.
