What annoys you about your MK7?

Yup, mine had squeeky brakes when reversing off the drive too, i don't think the mk7 uses it's rear brakes very much as the rear wheels were always pretty clean??

strange thing is I am not using the brakes at the time, could be the surface rust on the disc rubbing on the pads ?

Could be, mine only did it when i touched the pedal to keep from creeping out into the road.

This doesn't annoy me, but Sport mode turning the Mode button orange when activated!, when all other buttons turn orange when that associated function is switched off, did VW run out of ideas here? Maybe Red would be a better colour for Sport mode or something other than orange!

I doesnt matter to me as I cant see it coz of the gear stick in the damn way

Yes the buttons are on the wrong side!! VW have left them the same as the LHD car....

I get this every day, without fail, regardless of the weather.  And its loud

Hmm, on a 1.4 as well?? Didn't know is was an issue for them either...

I'm quite sure it always was an issue with the 1.4lt units. Although it's stated in many forums that it was an issue with mk6 GTI. In my country though, there were only problem with the 1.4 TSIs. Maybe GTIs like our climate

Yes, every time I roll back or reverse when I haven't been in the car for a whole ie. first thing in the morning or after work. It's highly annoying!
