Well that's the BMW handed in today to the dealer, and now have a Golf Plus Tdi blue motion :smug:
Was told my Gti is on the next boat to Tyne, but don't know when that boat is!!!
The dealer said I will get my Gti on the 21st at the latest, so hope he's right, as everything has been smooth so far :smiley:

Jan is a more realistic expectation. I got my BW46 car this Friday, so add another 2 weeks which puts it towards end of this month.
I also think the factory stops producing Golfs for 2 weeks.
It's worth the wait folks. :)

Our cars have already been made and are waiting for the boat so factory issues shouldn't be an issue. I guess is depends where you live also. I'm in Essex so I guess that's pretty near where the boat docks....who knows.

Neckar Highway left Emden Yesterday and arrived at Grimsby this morning.

Schelde Highway left Emden this afternoon and is on the way to Grimsby (due 9am tomorrow).

Weser Highway arrived in Emden last night and should be leaving tomorrow, presumably for Grimsby too.

Will our cars definitely go to our 'local' port (i.e. shortest road miles from the dealership)? It seems that Grimsby gets the bulk of the ships - will they not just transport them from there?
