5th Gear is no longer on prime time TV.
I think that speaks for itself regarding it's content and quality.
I have been surprised it lasted so long.
It utter 5hit!

5th Gear is trying to be Top Gear in many ways. Regardless of we we think of either program, we'll still watch them.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

OK so I watched it and I think Tiff has a blinkered view on what is required out of a car.  When putting together a TV program you want to throw your cars around the track and get them sideways. In reality on the road, this is the last thing you want to happen.

However he does have a point about not being able to turn it off.  You should have the choice really.

I agree with the Tiff.
As a track/racing car it's not very good.

However, as an everyday car that does everything it it outstanding.

I wonder if Tiff did try disable the ESP. The GTi has a two stage ESP. Stage 1 disables the TCS and stage 2 delays the activation of the ESP which in VW's words allows more oversteer.
